It is an absolute pleasure for me to help create your wedding vows so that your ceremony is as unique and individual as your relationship is. Whether your wedding is going to be informal, or elaborate, saying your vows in front of family and friends, is the ultimate way to express your love for one another.

I will supply you with everything you need, so that you can relax and enjoy this very important endeavour, I have a large selection of vows, ring ceremonies and some beautiful rituals such as Sand Sifting, Ring Warming, Hand Fasting, Rose Ceremonies and Wine Ceremonies. You may like to have a Butterfly Release, a Dove Release, or even fireworks. You may already have children that you would love to participate in the ceremony and there are definitely some really fun ways they can be involved.

I can share any of these ideas with you in full detail from my wedding book which I loan to you in the form of a hard copy and I email it to you in the online form. That way if we can’t meet straight away, you still can have the online version to get all your ideas from. For your actual vows, we can work together, you can create your own, or I can do them for you, the choice is yours. I will make a final draft of your vows and ceremony for you to approve and will also provide you with a beautiful presentation copy of your vows on handmade petal paper for you to keep. You deserve a relaxed and carefree day and I will devote my time to make sure your wedding ceremony is full of love and joy, so it will be remembered fondly for the rest of your lives.

TESTIMONIALS

I have some lovely vows, ring ceremonies and rituals that can be incorporated into the ceremony, such as a Candle Ceremony, Rose Ceremony, Sand Ceremony, Wine Ceremony, Ring Warming or a Butterfly Release, they are all spectacular and can include family and friends, which can make it even more meaningful. I will provide you with a lovely Wedding Renewal Certificate and Appreciation Certificates for those involved in the ceremony. I will also provide a beautifully presented copy of your renewal vows printed on handmade petal paper.

I believe that a Commitment Ceremony is a wonderful alternative to a legal Wedding Ceremony. For those couples who do not want, or cannot have a legal ceremony, but would like to make an everlasting declaration of love for each other in the presence of family and friends, a Commitment Ceremony is perfect.

I also believe everybody deserves to celebrate their love regardless of their gender. I have a beautiful selection of commitment vows, ring ceremonies and rituals such as Sand Sifting, Candle Lighting, Ring Warming, a Wine Ceremony, a Rose Ceremony, a Dove Release, Butterfly Release or even Fireworks.

I can share any of these ideas with you in full detail from my wedding book which I loan to you in the form of a hard copy and I email it to you in the online form. That way if we can’t meet straight away, you still can have the online version to get all your ideas from.

These days there are many couples who prefer not to have a religious christening and a baby naming ceremony is a lovely and alternative way to celebrate and commemorate the birth or the adoption of a baby or child. A naming ceremony is also the perfect time to officially announce the godparents to family and friends. Naming ceremonies help to create a bond between families and can bring an awareness of the importance of sharing values and responsibilities.

I have some lovely ceremonies that can be the highlight of the celebration, such as the Lighting of Candles, Sand Sifting, The burial of a Time Capsule, a Butterfly Release, a Tree Planting, the Sprinkling of Rose Petals, or individual blessing’s spoken out loud by all attending. These ceremonies can be made even more special by involving the godparents, grandparents and if the new baby or adopted child has siblings, it is a wonderful way to involve them in the ceremony which can also help with their bonding process.

I will provide a lovely Naming Certificate for the baby or child and can provide Certificates of Appreciation for siblings, grandparents and godparents. I will also provide a beautiful presentation copy of any readings or poems that are used for the ceremony, printed on handmade petal paper.

If you decide you would like me to be your Celebrant, I would ask you to pay an initial ‘booking fee’ deposit, which is generally non-refundable (depending on circumstances of course). This deposit covers ceremony preparation and the security of your marriage date. The balance of my fee is payable anytime up to one week prior to your marriage by way of direct deposit, bank cheque, or cash.

You are required by law to show your Celebrant proof of identity such as your original Birth Certificates, if you are  an Australian citizen, passports are not accepted as valid identification, however if you are from overseas and don’t have your Birth Certificate/s, a valid Passport/s is acceptable. If either of you have been divorced or widowed you will need to show your celebrant the original Divorce/Death certificates. Photocopies are not acceptable and if any of your certificates are not available, you should contact the Registrar of Births, Deaths & Marriages for advice.

You are required by law to fill out a ‘Notice of Intended Marriage’ (NOIM) form which must be received by your marriage celebrant no later than one calendar month and one day prior to your marriage date.

You can download it from the Registry of Births, Deaths & Marriages, complete it exactly as instructed on the document and bring it with you to the meeting, together with the above documentation.

Names must be exactly as documented on your Birth Certificates. If you would rather me help you fill out the (NOIM) I can provide one for you at our meeting and we can fill it out together, you will need to bring the same documentation as above.
